Down by the Beach

Two new restaurants are taking over the Maritime Museum building at the harbor! Salty at the Beach Bar & Grill has opened where Endless Summer is no longer. Chomp on the Rocks will open in just a few weeks where Chuck's Waterfront was (same building, first floor). Both eateries are owned by Aaron Peterson, a restaurateur with a few locations in Solvang. Salty is said to have an "Endless Summer" Mai Tai on the menu as an ode to the former bar.

In other news a few blocks north on State Street, M Special Brewing has officially opened their tap room + restaurant in the former Tonic Nightclub location. The space features front and back patios and is dog-friendly, but no cabanas remain for bottle service, sorry!
