As you've no doubt noticed, there are quite a few exciting changes on corners around town. The former Greyhound bus station at the corner of Carrillo and Chapala was leveled recently and will be replaced with two office and retail buildings The former Craviotto Brothers Iron Works building has also been demolished and 30 new apartments will be built on the site across from Paradise Cafe Also, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCASB) purchased land in the Funk Zone at the corner of Anacapa and Mason to build a contemporary art museum and meeting spaces.
